Changes to spells

Some spells are slightly different due to various reasons but mainly because the setting requires it.
This article mainly covers alternative material requirements.

Revivify, Raise Dead, Resurrection, and True Resurrection

Necrotic and Radiant Elemental Crystals can be used instead of Diamonds. For Revivify and True Resurrection the ingredients must be of the same type, so either all Necrotic crystals, all Radiant crystals, or all Diamonds.   Additionally, a Necromancy Wizard can learn Raise Dead from the spellbook of another wizard that learned the spell. It cannot be chosen on level ups and must be learned through this method.

Hallow

The Hallow spell is split in two effects. The first effect is essential, the second effect is extra. In Aerlad, Hallow is a 4th level spell if you only use the first effect. If you use only the first effect the material costs are reduced to (At least 800 gp worth of herbs, oils, and incense, which the spell consumes), down from 1000 gp. To access the second effect requires 5th level spellcasting and the full 1000 gp of material components.

Reincarnate

When a creature is being reincarnated by the Reincarnate spell they choose two races and the DM chooses two races, then a d4 is rolled to determine the result, subraces can be picked by the reincarnated player. The reincarnated player character may redistribute their attribute points if they so wish.
