Personal history
Melchinoopo is a relatively young Ogre, having been born in 849 PF.
His early career was spent in the Merchant caste couriering goods from store to home, and back. He was quick, never missed a package, and was tireless. His quick evolution into a Hobgoblin was no surprise to his employers or friends. Melchinoopo was driven and he approached each task as a test to further his abilities.
As a Hobgoblin he was given autonomous control over his routes and within a few short months he was sent out to travel the east trail towards Hollow's Point. He proved very successful along the trail and even made a connection with a merchant in Hollow's Point that proved very lucrative to him and Golzect's Throne. His evolution to Bugbear was quick and not unexpected.
As a Bugbear he continued to hone his craft and furthered his skills at bartering, trading, and determining worth out of items that others would have bypassed. He understands people's motivations, and used his keen intellect to make all dealings with him beneficial. His connections in Hollow's Point continued to grow and in the year 920 PF Melchinoopo was responsible for establishing a trade route between Golzect's Throne and Hollow's Point, cementing his reputation as the greatest Goblin Merchant in history.
In the year 962 PF he evolved into an Ogre and shortly after became the leader of the Merchant caste in Golzect's Throne, though he did not spend a lot of time there, prefering to travel to his accustomed destinations.
When Zentog was assassinated he was selected as the newest Warmaster of Golzect's Throne, with the caveat that Taktar would be placed there as his leader of the Horde caste. Melchinoopo readily agreed as he was no warrior and he knew he could benefit from the expertise of Taktar. His first duty was to reclaim some lost land recently taken by the Witch Queen. Many did not believe he could do it, and Basselwip openly mocked him, calling him young, inexperienced, and foolish. Melchinoopo did what he does so well - delegate to those who can get the job done. Sending Taktar out to utilize his skills, Melchinoopo was pleased with the results, as were the other Warmasters.
To Melchinoopo, having the responsibility of ensuring the Horde, the Warrens, and the Merchants were cared for was less interesting than he would have liked. He benefited from having a strong leader of the Warrens in Mekletek, and a strong leader of the Horde in Taktar. This freed him up to maintain his connections with the outside world.
A great opportunity for growth and inclusion presented itself to Melchinoopo as in five years hence the next Lord's Auction would be held in Essillion and a prime topic of conversation was going to be the route of the much anticipated Road of Opportunity. The road that would connect Essillion and Avandar would be a very lucrative route and he wanted very much to have it go through Golzect's Throne. He had established good relations along that route in the last few years and he was eager to show the other Goblins and the rest of the continent that the Goblins could participate in the shaping of the continent as equals and in peace. The Goblins had not been invited to the Lord's Auction previously and this would be a true accomplishment for Melchinoopo.
Basselwip called him a fool, Navandark did not even notice, and Sargut held his judgment for the outcome. Melchinoopo put it all on the line for this to work and he was well prepared. He had contacts in Hollow's Point, and they were a prime mover in the diplomatic and economic circles of the region. He was sure he could count on Shardhold to also benefit from the route going that way, and certainly they would recognize his skill and acumen in the political and economic field.
The Lord's Auction was a disaster and Melchinoopo left in disgrace and anger. Losing the opportunity was a tough thing to take, but the ridicule of Basselwip and the disappointment of Sargut was too much to bear. Melchinoopo went back to Golzect's Throne full or ire, and smoulered for months. Taktar prompted him to take up arms. This insult was too much to bear. Melchinoopo was already planning on exacting his revenge on the Road of Opportunity but he could not do it from Golzect's Throne. As much as he could see through Taktar's methods, and hated giving him the satsifaction, their goals were aligned, so Melchinoopo relinquieshed control of Golzect's Throne to him and vowed to take Brightwave.
Sargut was relocated to the Southguard Plains, near Stonebridge, and Melchinoopo began his foray into the Ancient Plains of Alucar and further south towards Brightwave. Taktar declared his martial law and began conscripting heavily, much to many in Golzect's Throne, but Melchinoopo was unconcerned. He was only focused on his victory at Brightwave.
Education
Melchinoopo is very educated in lore, business, history, and benefits from extensive experience dealing with people.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Melchinoopo was the first to establish a lasting trade route between Golzect's Throne and Hollow's Point, further securing his place in history as the greatest Goblin merchant.
He was also the youngest Warmaster appointed, until he gave up his position to Taktar.
He was the only Warmaster from the Merchant caste and took great pride in showing the value of the Merchant caste to the rest of Goblin society.
He was also the first Goblin to obtain an invitation to the Lord's Auction in 1000 PF
Failures & Embarrassments
Melchinoopo's great failure and embarrassment were the same occurrence. At the Lord's Auction, in his bid to sell the merits of the Road of Opportunity, not only did he fail to win his case, but he was insulted in the presence of the King of Essillion, and other great leaders by an upstart Dwarf named Tynar of the Harmbringers Mercenary Company.
Melchinoopo intened to wait for the final decision the next day but he already knew the answer, and left in anger. His entire existence became to thwart and destroy the Road of Opportunity.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Melchinoopo's previous motivation was to first bring the Merchant caste some more respect in Goblin society, which then evolved into bringing Goblins into more relationships on the continent. He wanted Goblins to take their place with the other Founder Races to forge history as equals.
Since the Lord's Auction, his new motivate and sole purpose is to destroy the Road of Opportunity, and subsequently enact revenge on Tynar of the Harmbringers.
Social
Social Aptitude
Melchinoopo is confident, driven, and not afraid to take a chance. He builds good relationships when acting in the manner of a merchant, less so when acting as a leader in a political climate.
Hobbies & Pets
Melchinoopo rides a young, domesticated Purple Worm into combat. Its name is Puk'kugr, which translates into Rage Digger. He is most fearsome when riding it and the intimidation factor alone gives him a prime advantage.
