The leader of the Warren caste in Golzect's Throne, Mekletek is a small Ogre woman, who is responsible for the upkeep and safeguarding of the Warren and Hive within the tunnels of the capital.

General Physical Condition
Mekletek is smaller than her other Ogre cousins and is often looked down upon for that. She is still physicall fit and superior to most below her evolutionary standing, but she is considered weaker by many.

Personal history
Mekletek was born and raised in Golzect's Throne during a quiet and peaceful time for the Goblins. The Merchant caste was making headway in forming good relations with some topside settlements, and there were no major Goblin offensives going on at the time. She was given the freedom to roam and wandered the tunnels and passageways of the Warren often and unaccompanied. She made friends easily and was not competitive with the other Goblins.
Her familiarity with the Warrens led her to some experiences in various aspects of Goblin life in the Depths. She performed guard duty, patrol duty, aided with the tunnelers, and even spent some time in the Hive caring for the younglings. Wherever she went she made a name for herself as a supportive but firm leader and mentor. She had a quiet confidence that was evident in her manner and dealings with the people she met.
She taught patience, level-headedness, and wisdom to those who would listen. She also encouraged the low to strive for higher worth, be it in position, in wealth, or in acceptance of where they were.
She was an acquaintance of Melchinoopo in his role as leader of the Merchant caste, back when she was still a Hobgoblin, and she engendered herself to him early on. It was not long before she evolved into a Bugbear, and only 5 years ago she evolved into an Ogre, albeit a small one. Her appointment as leader of the Warren caste was no surprise to anyone.
She had the ear of Melchinoopo as he ascended to the position of Warmaster of Golzect's Throne, but it was not without a hard battle with Taktar, the leader of the Horde caste. She was confident she would get the support she needed for her charges, but the Lord's Auction, and subsequent departure of Melchinoopo put those plans on hold. With Taktar as Warmaster of Golzect's Throne, Mekletek is wise enough to know she will not get what she needs while he is on the Throne. However, she is patient and willing to wait for the opportune before making any moves.

Mekletek was informally educated in a variety of topics, mostly owing to hands on experience and shared knowledge.
Employment
Mekletek worked as a guard, a guide, a scout, an excavator, a Hive Mother's assistant, and a clerk for the Tunnel Delver's Alliance, among other things.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Mekletek was able to secure a leadership position in the Warren caste in many of the roles she had. Even in the Merchant caste she was able to find leadership opportunities when she set her mind to it.
Becoming the leader of the Warren caste at such an early age was noteworthy, and impressive.
Failures & Embarrassments
Even though Mekletek was able to secure a leadership position at an early age, and evolved into an Ogre fairly young, she is small and many deem her too soft. On more than one occasion Taktar, a Bugbear of lesser evolution was able to put her in her place physically, and even with sheer intimidation. Though it appeared to the outside that she cowered and feared him, Mekletek was savvy to the politics of the situation and showed patience and restraint.
Morality & Philosophy
The efforts to bolster so many should be lauded and supported, not ridiculed or belittled. The strength of the Goblins is in their tenacity and willingness to help each other in more than just sheer numbers.

Mekletek is very observant and patient, allowing for a keen understanding of social queues and assessing the current political landscape. She waits for the opportune moment.

Unfortunately, at this time of conscription and war, many of her allies have been taken from the city and sent to fight.
