The Cost of Everything

A Guide on Prices in Pelinore

For simplicity in the campaign, prices for items are generally the same in cities regardless of which one. However, certain items would not be so easy to come by in certain locations. For example, a long sword would not be available in the Dwarven city of Mørkheim. In fact, many human sized weapons would be hard to find.   In towns, costs may be comparable. In villages, costs would be 1.5x (to non-locals), rounded up of course!
Tavern Costs:   Don't expect much more on the menu! Prices will increase if standard of tavern is more posh than the norm

Travel Costs:
  • Cart - 1SP/day of travelling on back of wagon - no seat
  • Carriage - 1GP/day of travelling inside of carriage (if available) - 4 seats max
  • Any form of boat - 1SP/day of travelling - a ship would have hammocks, others would be on deck
You can't even afford a donkey! Don't even think about how much it would cost to buy your own transport! Okay, if you're asking.   It's all in finer detail here, Horse Types & Costs

Clothing Costs:   This is the basics, un-tailored, off the shelf, maybe even second hand.

Only basic armour would be commonly available, maybe even second hand.
More obscure specialised armour would need to be made to order (i.e. wait time!). Or it may be more common in a large city.
For body armour encumbrance, this assumes a 6-foot-high person. Therefore, multiply by height to get appropriate value.

Weapon Costs:   Only basic weapons would be commonly available.   Note: Resharpening cost for a weapon will be 1CP per weapon.
