The coffers of Vilka were dried up, and after 10 years of increased cruelty by the king, and starvation, the Vilkan Civil War began in 995. Breaking Vilka into a hundred independent factions, over the last 5 years these factions have lessened to about 20 different warring factions vying for dominance over the kingdom.
