The storms wreck havoc on Aeris

The climate of Aeris had been wrecked by the Great Collapse, and over the past 400 years steadily became colder and colder. This was till the Long Freeze for which the century is named began in 405. The sun was ever blotted out by dark clouds as Aeris experienced an ice age. Huge storms were ever present as all continents were covered in ice and snow. Sarasarada and other lands which were hotter experienced long, near constant rainstorms, flooding cities and drowning agriculture.
