Your band of raiders have been reaping the Sojezeri Road for some time, no carriage or band of pilgrims has opposed you. Another cart approaches. Humans, some Half-Elves, easy pickings for a band of experienced ruffians like you and your crew. Standard hold up, you ambush them. But they're so calm. The cart's door opens, and a giant Minotaur with white fur steps out. The Minotaur's brass armor glinting in the noonday sun. Suddenly the Minotaur raises a hand, a flash of searing light follows! You feel your eyes burn white hot and see nothing. You hear your fellows screaming for mercy, you turn tail and run. The screams of your men grow faint... But as you run the Sarasaradan sun burns down on your back like fire, till you can run no more. Before long you hear a cart stop nearby, and hoofed feet approach you. "Asterus frowns upon you this day friend, you should've considered that before committing such heinous acts under his watchful eye. Now you feel his ire. Let Lad'mie lead you to where you belong"...

Personal history
Asterus was one of the High God children of Telera and Odeus. He burst into being, two massive war hammers in hand. During the Clash of the Gods Asterus fought Shl'ier as well as Lolth. He batted a giant meteor into the hole where Lolth had fallen and buried her there. When all was settled Asterus left behind the twin suns of Aeris to light the world while he could no longer walk it himself. The suns were to represent his two mighty hammers. He made the Minotaurs, and they hold a special connection with him as a result.
