Archaean Age
10000 BGC - 8000 BGC
The Archaean Age was the age before the first kingdoms of mankind, when the world was still young and only Elves had civilizations across the Aeris. During this period the Gods were still recovering from their battle, but when the sun had risen the coming day, time began and the world was made. The first year of the world 10,000 BGC (Before Great Collapse) was quiet, The Elves of Tol Anor were peaceful, and the Dwarves began burrowing into the mountains. Meanwhile the Halfling began to settle the Shyrland where they’d make their ancestral lands. Humans lived in tribes and clans across the world, nomadic, they sought an identity, and over time they began to develop their own unique cultures and ways of life across seas and climates. But the rise of humanity would not come for many more years. When the Elves began to expand into Val’Kara, they came into first contact with the Dwarves. There was tentative diplomacy at first, but who the first aggressor was has been lost to time. The First Elven-Dwarf Wars raged on and off throughout the period. Other small conflicts occurred over the age, but many records of these wars and skirmishes have been lost to time.
Sarasada was inhabited by roving tribes of many different races, but the first to start a city-state were the Tabaxi. These Tabaxi founded Constantia. A duel city which crossed the mouth of the bay. It was the largest city of it’s time, and held the Tabaxi’s records of the Clash of the Gods. The Mastodai aided them in their collection of knowledge, and the Libris Chronatum was built. A massive archive of tomes, scrolls, and other writings. It was finished in the year 9028 BGC. There were few other notable occurrences other than the Minotaur Divergence. The race of the Minotaurs began an inner conflict between each other at the end of the Archaean Age. This conflict saw the Minotaurs split themselves in three. With beastly Minotaurs, or Krino, the more warlike Minotaurs, or Krysis, and the more peaceful Minotaurs, or Knosis. The Knosis formed a mighty army in the wake of this conflict. They defended their shores so fiercely that many warned all from even nearing the island at all.
