Boros Legion

The Boros Legions fashion themselves as holy warriors with shining armour and a strictly regimented command structure. Occasionally they will become mercenaries for hire - but only when the cause is righteous. Wherever criminals exploit others, petty tyrants make grabs for power, or violence erupts and leaves devastation in its wake, Boros soldiers are there fighting to make things right.     The Boros Legion is defined by the tension between its goal of establishing order and harmony and the fiery zeal that drives many of its members. The guild stands for peace and justice, which can be established only through the rule of law. Its moral stance is fundamentally good, as it strives to protect the innocent and powerless from oppression and exploitation. At the same time, members of the legion are passionate about their pursuit of justice, spurred by their righteous wrath into action against evil and injustice. Ironically, this means that individual members sometimes break the rules they are charged with enforcing, cleaving to the spirit of the law when the letter no longer serves justice.   The legion was founded by the angel Razia, but they departed with the gods. Nowadays, the Boros Legion is led by the Nyrell Siegmier, an Aasimar of Aureon.

Goals:

To spread discipline and the Gods words.
  1. Currently have a tenuous alliance with the nomadic Gruul Clans of Bedrogua in order to eliminate the demon/fiend threat of Karraka once and for all
  2. Can be hired if their superior officers consider the purpose is “holy” or “sacred” and this threshold can be adjusted depending upon the officer.
  3. Currently also skirmishing with insurrectionists based in Anor and Adrington who are interfering with their supply line from Borovia in Ruchiador to the The Great Wall. They are attempting to avoid becoming involved in the border skirmishes between Luxor and Adrington.

  1. Lord-Commander - commanding 3 Legatus
  2. Legatus (Legatus Legionis) - commanding a legion of 33 Tribunes
  3. Tribune

  6. Corporal / Wojek

  9. Recruit
Current Lord-Commander is Nyrell Siegmier, a conservative human male with short white hair and a long relationship with the head priestess of the Dol Arrah religion, Gwynnavier Gentile. This is part of the reason he has maintained power for so long, the most devoted and religious of the Boros legion believe he is appointed by a holy decree.   There are three Legatus are Arryl (human, male), Cullodena (centaur, female) and Brathach (minotaur, male): Arryl is respected for his brilliant military mind, and passion for stomping out Karraka once and for all through an alliance with the Gruul. Cullodena is a moderating influence, who tends to side with the most logical course of action - which is usually Arryl. Brathach is a true believer, and a devotee of Dol Arrah, for this reason he will brook no disrespect of disagreement with Nyrell.
