Zofyzkyv (zo-FEE-zkeev)

Ancient Enwamu, ‘place of fruit’   Zofyzkyv is Enwynpa’s own little slice of Eden. Sheltered in a fertile valley, the city is home to the vast majority of the nation’s agriculture beyond sharm herding. But while many crops find a suitable home in the farmlands here, it is the orchards that are the envy of farmers across the world. They produce the sweetest, most aromatic fruits, and in turn the most flavourful and deviously intoxicating spirits.   In the millennia before Enwynpa fell to Brightmoor, Zofyzkyv was a target for raiders Brightmoorian and Enwynpan alike. It was habitually attacked until a few hundred years before The Humbling when Lord Nefa Zofyzkyv, in an effort to protect her people and her station, commissioned the greatest masons in the continent to build a wall across the mouth of the valley. The Zofyzkyv Wall was finished long after the death of Nefa, but her legacy lived on.   Falling to then-Lord Above All Others Destin Greybark’s desperate peace talks rather than Brightmoor’s armies, the walls did their job admirably for a hundred years. As the farmland nearby expanded in all directions, the city folk of Zofyzkyv spread along the wall’s length rather than use up valuable arable land, and after the Farmer's Rebellion a century after The Humbling, Brightmoorian citizens rebuilt their new homes on the southwestern side of the wall, separated from the potentially dangerous locals by thick stone.   The raiders that the impressive wall protected its creators from having long since been eliminated by the Brightmoor Guard, and the former symbol of Enwynpan independence now serves as no more than a raised highway between the two sides of the city.   The northeastern, Enwynpan side is home mostly to bakers, brewers, vintners, butchers, and some of the closer farmers. The southwestern, Brightmoorian side is more varied, but many culinary artisans are located here, as well as merchants, nobles, and various officials.
