The Royal Trade Bridge

In order for the party to cross into Zarafell and successfully flee Frewen, they must cross the Royal Trade Bridge. In order to do so unnoticed, the party must first find/buy disguises for everyone. These are found in Durah’ Sol. Once the disguises are acquired, the party must pass the Frewen Guard that are stationed at the bridge. Once they are passed, the party is free to roam on the bridge a short distance before boarding a cart to be taken to the other side.

Purpose / Function

The Royal Trade Bridge connects the continents of Frewen and Zarafell to each other. This allows for trade to go back and forth between continents and kingdoms without the use of ships, but instead can be traversed by horse, cart, or even on foot. Because of this bridge, there has been a significant increase in trade between the two nations, and also a sharp increase in travel for tourists and immigration.

Architecture

The Royal Trade Bridge, also known as The World Bridge, The King’s Pass, Arlen’s Viaduct, Arlen’s Reach, or The Arm of Razda, is a long bridge connecting the continents of Frewen and Zarafell. Considered a world wonder, the Royal Trade Bridge is 56 kilometers long, and 70 feet wide. Built with cobblestones and held up by massive arches, the bridge stands an average of 40 feet above sea level. Along the bridge there are portions of residential living and trade markets. Building are built into the walls of the bridge. To make travel easy, a big business along the bridge is transportation. Many people have businesses where they will take people from one end of the bridge to the other or any place in between, via horse or cart. The bridge is a place that never sleeps and is busy with people almost all the time. Some people live permanently on the bridge.
