Davgretor, the Magnificent

Davgretor, who often goes by the moniker "Davgretor, the Magnificent," is a powerful wizard and one of the Magi of the Twin Peaks. He takes the title of the Wizard of the Western Peak, due to him living on the western-most mountain of the two.
Davgretor is a known master of illusions and divination, and is perhaps the most learned astronomer on Aeramis. He owes no allegiance to any particular organization or government, though he was once a member of the Arcanus Docere. It is said that Davgretor was kicked out of the college due to his obsession with discovering a library of myth and legend. Being so solitary, he has set up many wards and abjurations to protect himself and his home from unwanted intrusion.
Despite his general wish for solitude, Davgretor will occasionally respond to the summons of lords and ladys, sometimes appearing somewhere to give aid even before the person receiving is aware that they needed it. He is infamous as a womanizer, though a harmless one. He holds a friendship/rivalry with his counterpart, the Sorcerer of the Eastern Peak.
