Astral War

The Astral War was a 1,000 year long conflict between the gods. The Forces of Darkness battled with the Forces of Light for dominion over the world. The war shook the very planet to its core, nearly destroying it and all life. Only the intervention of De'em prevented apocalypse. With the end of the war, the gods agreed to never again instill their might upon the world, instead interacting with Aeramis and its people more passively.
