Scope: This outbreak was the deadliest in recorded history, claiming nearly 1 in 4 lives in Baldore. Effects: The social fabric of these cities was irrevocably changed. Fear of magic became more deeply ingrained, leading to a lasting stigma against magical practitioners. The Guntai, now seen as both oppressors and protectors, further solidified their power as they enforced martial law to control the spread of the disease.
