Scope: This was the first major outbreak of Malaise Plague, affecting around 15% of the city's population. Effects: Panic ensued as the Guntai began arresting suspected mages, believing them to be the source of the plague. This led to widespread mistrust of magic users and a crackdown on magical practices, drastically affecting the local economy and social dynamics.
