Locality Leaders
There are eleven seats on the Long Council for Locality Leaders. These Leaders are voted on by the Short Council, and are almost always members of nobility. There are six localitys, the Steward's Sector, which encompasses the Steward's castle and grounds. No Man's Land gained it's name because it is predominately full of large Manors and, according to the lay man, it seems uninhabited due to the unnatural space between the Nobility's homes. The Next section, the Red Center, was newly created in the last fifty years to ajdust and make space for the Church of the Illumin. It took over space in both No Man's Land and in Mid-Town. On the left side of the city is the Wizard's Wing, and on the Right side is the Merchant's Glory. The middle of the City is Mid-Town, and heading towards the entrance of the city there is Low-Town as well as the Beggar's Strip surrounding the entrance. There are two Locality Leaders for each part of the city, save for the Steward's Sector which is under the full sanction of Rowan Kiossa.
As with Guildmasters, each Locality Leader has one vote on the Long Council and two votes on the Short council. Locality Leaders are in charge of the function of their locality, lighting street lamps, scheduling and organizing markets to ensure everyone within will have access to what they need, as well as being the primary judge before citizens can bring concerns directly to the Steward. They work closely with the knights to ensure safety as well.
