Bastet Sekhmet

As lazy and comfortable as she is vengeful and predatory, the dichotomous spirit of Bastet Sekhmet is at the core of the feline Goddess. Split into two manifestations. Bastet represents the benign side of the Goddess, that of a house cat hunting down mice and lazing about in a ray of sunshine. Sekhmet, on the other hand, represents the predatory, cold fury of a lioness stalking her prey. Similarly, Bastet is often identified with the day and Sekhmet with the night.
Bastet Sekhmet is, despite her lacking devotion to anything, one of the strongest warriors amongst the gods and became a terror to the Titanspawn in the First War due to the way she would play with her prey before finishing it off. While it earned her no favor with Elohim, her reputation became as powerful a weapon as any in the armory of the gods.
While Bastet Sekhmet resides most often in Elysium, she is not exactly welcome there - Just, no one has had the guts to try and throw her out.
Bastet Sekhmet values, above all else, her own enjoyment in life. Whether that be lazing away an afternoon or tearing apart someone who offended her is as unpredictable as the weather. She is unusually uninterested in the affairs of mortals and gives little care as to maintaining her worship. She is the patron of those who wander the world without a purpose, the layabouts and for those who take life one step at a time. Mercenaries, bards and the idle send her prayers for guidance.
Bastet Sekhmet is most often depicted as in her cat or lion shapes or as a woman with sand-colored skin and a lustrous mane of golden hair.
