The Hereafter

The afterlife, ruled over by Omet, God of Death, Lord of the Afterlife. There are many stories of the different realms that Omet may have created, and where mortals are sent in death, based on how they treated others. To general knowledge, no one has been back to report on whether these stories are true or not! The Hereafter had not been taken by Omet by the time the cataclysm came into effect (he is the youngest son of Zeun and Xera) and so no one from before the cataclysm, and from the old empires, can be found there. 
What is certain is that all mortals before the creation of the Hereafter simply died - they did not pass onto another region. Therefore, it is impossible to travel to the Hereafter and glean information about what may have caused the cataclysm.
