The Wanderer, like his fellow Profane Deities is something of an oddity. No one, not even his fellow gods knows where The Wanderer first originated. All other deities either arriving in the first coming of the gods or have since formed through worship or arcane means. The Wanderer however, strangely, was present on Zorin'um to greet the gods when they first arrived.

 

Many have speculated on his origins though most who know of him believe he hails from the Far Realms and the voids that lie beyond them. Either way he is the eldest of the gods by far, perhaps even older than time itself.

 

When viewed by mortal eyes The Wanderer appears as a humanoid figure draped in a deeply cowled cloak. Any skin that reveals itself seems to twist and shift as if made of many worms and insects that move beneath the skin. His hands face the wrong way and have ten long fingers each that curl from the end of each arm. Beyond that much of his physical form is a mystery for any that are said to have seen his face become maddened and insane.

 

It is said that he continues to walk the material plane causing chaos wherever he walks finding pleasure in the pain he reaps around him and forever seeking to undermine the gods at every turn.

 

He is chaos incarnate.
