Lord of the Nine Hells of Bator, The Mockery embodies his name within the this plane of lawful evil. He is a towering figure and the most humanoid of the Profane Six. He is a broad-chested and muscular man with gleaming, red skin. Six massive wings spread from his back, its bat-like webbing made from pure flame. His face is somewhat ambiguous as it is said to always appears to have the most desirable appearance to each individual that looks upon him. His clawed hands and cloven hooves are usually the only indication of his malicious nature.

 

The Mockery rules the Hells with an iron fist. The devils below him are constantly vying for power and promotion but none have been able to best the king of devils, for he is the embodiment of treachery and master of violence. During the many Godly wars it was known universally that the only being able to best him in combat was Al Alindra, Goddess of Strength at Arms herself. A reputation he has had to maintain due to the cut throat nature of his underlings.

 

The Mockery is akin to many of the Celestic Host in many ways. This is intentional for many reasons. The primary of which is to appeal to the faithful of his opposing gods drawing them slowly over to his side and worship. He especially targets powerful spellcasters hoping that their knowledge and power will aid him in eventually undoing his bindings. The Mockery however, does not seek to return to the Material Plane. Instead he wishes to bring his Blood War to Aenariel and add the realm to the layers of his domain; making his rule absolute.
