The Keeper is a bloated and monstrous figure who’s grubby paws weave webs upon webs of manipulations, lies and deceptions. The Keeper is an incredibly knowledgeable creature, greedily sending his minions to collect every shred of information on his allies and enemies alike.

 

Due to this fervent information gathering and his masterful manipulations skills, The Keeper is often said to appear as your closest confidant and seems utterly trustworthy. To many he appears covered in niceties, jewels and fine fabrics, all engineered to incite his targets greed.

 

It's true form his far more monstrous to behold. Long and segmented like a larval insect he has many spindly legs that line his terribly elongated body like a centipede which move like waves of terrible limbs when he deems it necessary to walk of his own accord. His body becomes upright towards the top where his skin changes from a shiny black carapace to fat, blubbery skin that rolls down his body in fleshy folds. The skin retains the shiny black properties of his carapace but cracks in places to reveal a molten red light that dwells beneath his skin. He has many mouths across his upper body each of which move, gnash and whisper of their own accord. One huge mouth dominates the bottom his stomach which serves as his primary orifice. It splits at the bottom to form three lips which conceal a secondary maw within it. Atop his shoulders sits a small round head with multiple wagging chins and a crown of bony horns protrude from his brow above his beady glowing eyes.

 

He wears upon his body an abundance of gem encrusted jewellery, gold and the finest fabrics all taken from those who have perished while pledged to his service. For that is all that await those in The Keepers clutches. A select 25 are kept to wait upon him and carry him around on his solid gold palankeen. Those that outlive their usefulness are killed and eventually consumed by the ravenous king of Daemons.
