"Khander"
The enemy thinks Hagenum is theirs,
Their eyes are red and they're mad if they think so!
Hagenum is ours and always will be!
we spilled blood there, not ours!
Slaughtered the princes, the dogs! Ask the Yarmeg, ask the Zhor,
Ask them how quick they forgot Egir!
ask them how our steel rang at Erlea, and Agrena. When our horses reared up,
and the wind of war came over us
we expelled the invader,
we ripped his tongue out!
and there they went fleeing
We cut them down and our blades sang
"why do you run little Yari?" Ask now, where is the Yarmeg slave?
I think we saw his head on the road to Garibul!
The town is in chains so tight!
Now he's rotting in a ditch,
his feather hat is all dirty now!
we have full bellies and clear heads,
He has nothing and more! Like thunder we boom now,
like lightning we come swift
lock away your beer
lock away your cows
the brigade is coming! The Yarmegs run so fast I hear them now!
they run like they have a fire under their boot
Someone help poor Janós, he is lost
Ask him what we did to Triuli!
Ask him what we did to Tirak!
Can he even find it on a map? The brigade is coming!
Hunter blood surges us forward!
fruit at our feet, we are coming!
Bugel horns and trumpet leads us on.
To Donihask, to Valigrad, to the Oltune!
We'll trample the world, we'll kill every man!
Translated into Hergovhan, the common tongue of the Sizhorovi: Nepatelj vjeruje da je Hagenum njihej,
Njihove oči su crvene i ludi su ako tako mislaku!
Haepoli je naš i zauvijek će biti!
Tamo je proliven ai krv, ali ne naši!
Pjeni se kneževi, proknici! Pitajte Yarmiga, pitajte Zhora,
Pitajte ih kako su brzo zaboravili Egira!
Pitajte ih kako je naš čelik odzvanjao u Erlen i Agrien. Kada su se naši konji podigli visoko,
I vjetrovi rata nad nas došli,
Sada trune u jarku,
Njegov pernati šešir sada je prljav!
Mi imamo puna trbuha i jasne glave, On nema ništa i više!
Kao grom, sada tutnjamo,
Kao munje, brzo dolazimo,
Zaključajte svoje pivo,
Zaključajte svoje krave,
Brigada dolazi!
Brigada dolazi!
Lovčeva krv nas gura naprijed!
Voće nam je pod nogama, dolazimo!
Bugel rogovi i trube vode nas naprijed.
Do Donihaska, do Valigrada, do Oltuna!
Gazit ćemo svijet; pobit ćemo svakog čovjeka!
Khander or Khandar, meaning Enemies, is a song attributed to the Sizhorovi of Komneia, a corp of dedicated and vicious foreign mercenary soldiers employed by the Autokrators. The Sizhorovi are infamous for their violent attacks and reprisals against enemy populations, particularly against the Zhors of the east, the Valaheians beyond the Oltune, and the Yarmezans of Akhantal who have repeatedly been massacred by the Sizhorovi, much to the dismay of the Komneian Autokrators. References are made to the cities of Hagenum, Erlea, Egir, and Agrena, each places where the Sizhorovi have defeated Yarmezan and Zhor armies. The mentioned are Triuli and Tirak, each is a city brutally sacked by the rampaging Sizhorovi. Then mentioned are the Valaheian city of Donihask, and the Yarmezan capital city of Valigrad.
