Outsider, The One Before All, Luminous Being

The Outsider, also called The One Before All or Luminous Being, is a mysterious being, about whom very little has been heard. No one has ever seen his face or heard his voice. In fact, the only source with little information about it is the Book of Ael, in which the overgod comments that this Luminous Being was responsible for the creation of all overdeities and, consequently, of the whole multiverse.
Its existence is considered extra-cosmic, transcending even the concepts of time and space. Some theoretical cosmologists seek to unravel the secrets beyond the crystal sphere of Aels, but there have never been many advances in this area of study, and extra-cosmic reality remains a great mystery to mortals and deities.

There was only one before the time existed, and after all, only the one remains. The Luminous Being, supreme father of all creation, with a single thought created the first living beings. He gifted each of these beings with the gift of creation, available in rocks of pure energy, and entrusted each creature with the mission of becoming one of its ambassadors. These beings are now called overdeities, and I, Ael, am one of them.
