A meticulously coordinated series of uprisings across Eldoria orchestrated by the three Great Houses—Syltharis, Valcairn, and Caerthall—with crucial support from numerous minor houses seeking reform. Rebel knights donned distinctive silver sashes across their armor, transforming a practical battlefield identifier into a powerful symbol of resistance that endures to this day. Multiple strategic strongholds fell simultaneously, with the most significant conflicts erupting around the ancestral seats of Sylvandell and Caerhold, where rebel banners unfurled in defiance of royal authority.

The rebels employed innovative combinations of conventional warfare and coordinated spell-weaving. Their signature "silver mist" strategy used enchanted fog to confuse loyalist forces while silver-sashed infiltrators penetrated enemy lines. The first night claimed over three hundred lives, including the renowned loyalist commander Sir Darian Hawkcrest and two members of the Royal Arcanum. The rebels lost Lord Peregrine of House Thistlewick, whose sacrifice at Moonfall Bridge allowed rebel forces to secure the eastern approaches to their territories.

Royal loyalists condemned the action as an unforgivable betrayal of sacred oaths, while sympathizers still commemorate the night as the awakening of righteous resistance against perceived tyranny. The silver symbol continues to divide Eldorian society, with hushed debates over its meaning occurring in taverns and noble courts alike. Some families remain fractured to this day, with siblings who chose different sides during the conflict refusing to speak even after years have passed.

In the aftermath, King Alden established the Order of the Golden Vigil—elite knights and mages tasked with rooting out any remnants of rebel sentiment. Their sometimes harsh methods have only deepened the divisions within Eldoria, creating a kingdom where political allegiances are often expressed through subtle symbols: a silver ring or handkerchief for those who still honor the rebellion's ideals, and golden pins or broaches for those steadfastly loyal to the crown.

Three great Noble Houses enter into rebellion against the crown:

House Caerthall

House Syltharis

House Valcairn

Joining them are some of their vassals and other Noble houses:

House Blackwood

House D'Armande and

House Draymoor
