Aeloria People, Places, and Geography

A grouping of the people and places in the world broken up by continent and kingdom, It will also include notes on the races of Aeloria and NPCs who don't fit into any of the above categories.

The World of Aeloria is broken up into several major regions:

Continents & Major Landmasses

Avarion (Western Continent) –

• Eldoria (Kingdom of chivalry and magic)
• Thalmyris (Mercantile kingdom with naval power)
• Valtareth Imperium (Monotheistic, expansionist empire)

Sylvaris (Eastern Continent)

• Vaelthwyn (Last elven kingdom)
• Nythrathis (Blighted wasteland ruled by the Undying Sorcerer-King)
• Mor’Katha (Cursed, undead-haunted witch-queens' land)
• Unexplore (Roughly a quarter of Sylvaris is unexplored area surrounded by a tall, nearly impassable mountain range.)

The Forbidden Lands

• A very large island in the middle of the Mistral Deep. No reputable Captain will go to it and, in fact, it is said to be nearly impossible to reach. If all of the countries of Aeloria agree on one thing, it is that no one goes there. Penalties for going, or attempting to go, range from imprisonment to exile to execution.

The Oceans Between the Continents

• The Mistral Deep – This ocean is the so dangerous that few travellers cross between the continents. It is nearly always storm-tossed and foggy. Legend tells of ships simply disappearing and of sailors driven mad by things they see beneath the waves.
• The Void's Eye - The other ocean which isn't even pictured on maps is utterly impossible and named after the massive hurricane that has raged here ever since The Sundering, almost 7,000 years ago. No ship that has ventured out into this ocean has ever returned.
