Standing tall and powerful, with scales gleaming in hues of gold, crimson, and obsidian, the Draak are humanoid relatives of the great dragons of old. Unlike their ancient cousins, Draak are bound to mortal concerns—though their lifespans stretch centuries, they are not immortal. Their connection to the dragons gives them unique abilities and a strong presence.

Draak are now extinct, as the curse that afflicts dragons has made them both revered and feared. Some lived as warriors and mercenaries, others as mystics, drawing upon the lingering arcane power in their blood. The Draak often faced deep identity struggles—do they embrace their draconic might, or live among mortals as one of them? Eventually, the choice was taken from them and they were hunted to extinction when the majority of them refused to turn on their Draconic brethren.

The Draak were a rare and enigmatic people, their draconic heritage setting them apart from other races. Their inner conflict between embracing their draconic nature and living among mortals made them complex and fascinating characters. The Draak were a force to be reckoned with.
