Firbolg

The Firbolgs are an island race of large, furry humanoids located off the eastern coast of Kalash. Their culture is unique and mysterious to outsiders, as they have remained isolated for many generations.
The females are known to travel across the sea to different islands, gathering food and resources for themselves and their communities. They are skilled hunters and gatherers, using their impressive strength and dexterity to catch prey and gather fruits and vegetables.
In contrast, the males of the Firbolg society remain on their home island, living a more sedentary lifestyle. They wait patiently for their future offspring to be delivered to them via a unique method: the females of the tribe use catapults to launch their newborns across the sea to the males' island. The males then raise and educate the children, teaching them the ways of their people.
Despite their isolation, the Firbolgs have a deep respect for nature and the world around them. They see themselves as stewards of the land and strive to maintain balance and harmony with the natural world. They have a strong spiritual connection to the earth and the elements, often incorporating rituals and ceremonies to honor the natural world into their daily lives.
In terms of physical appearance, the Firbolgs are imposing figures, standing well over seven feet tall and covered in thick fur. Their features are a blend of human and animal, with prominent claws and sharp teeth. Despite their fearsome appearance, they are a peaceful people who only use their strength and abilities for defense and survival.
Due to their remote location and unique way of life, the Firbolgs are often viewed with suspicion or curiosity by outsiders. But to those who take the time to learn about their culture and traditions, they are a fascinating and deeply respected people.
