Negative Energy and Positive Energy

These are the names for two types of energy which can affect the magic of Aelladore; Negative Energy is produced in the presence of tragedy and heightened negative emotions, while Positive Energy is produced in the presence of things that are good and right in the world - a mother's love, courage against adversity, the passing of family tradition, etc.

Negative Energy is what allows demons to spawn in the world, while Positive Energy is usually overlooked and even difficult to capture in the first place.
