Fairykin
Fairykin is a tiny race living in the Forest of Secrets. They’re up to one foot tall and are extremely light-weight. On their back, they have a pair of butterfly wings, which they get when they are grown up. They have to spend about two weeks in a cocoon to get wings.
The wings are blue or red, and every fairykin has its own pattern, just like a fingerprint. Whether it’ll get red or blue wings is random, and has nothing to do with inheritance. They are counted as adults at 50 years of age. Usually, a fairykin lives for about 750 years before it dies, but some are told to have become 3000 years old. This is very rare. This, however, has made the rumor that a fairykin can live forever if it doesn’t get sick. This is hard to find out because the race has a tendency to become extra vulnerable to sickness when passing 700 years of age.
Fairykin can speak with most birds and animals.
