Eye of the Oozing Hunger

A gelatinous oval that desperatly clings to the thin cord running through it. Centered in the oval is a lifeless looking, pale eye that periodically fixes its gaze on different objects of interest within eyesight. When attuned the amulet seeks the warmth of skin, sliding its way under any armor or clothing to be in contact with the wearers skin. The oval constantly drips a slimy green ooze that quickly evaporates once no longer in contact with the wearer.

Attuning to the amulet provides the wearer with a +2 boost to Constitution (allowing them to surpass 20) and takes a -1 from their Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma.
The wearer also receives proficiency on Constitution saves and is resistant to Acid damage.
Once per day, cast Web at will. Instead of a mass of webs covering the area the amulet creates a splash of dark green goo.

History

Originally bestowed to Nesh, the Unclean and passed from leader to leader of the Pestilance Knights. Currently held by Haksog Holith, the current leader. Not much is known about the origins of this item as Nesh quickly descended into madness shortly after receiving it. Rumours say that the eye is one plucked from The Faceless Lord itself and the wearer is granted its personal protection.

Significance

Bestowed on the most devout followers of The Faceless One, receiving this item is seen as an incredible blessing. This blessing shows that the The Faceless One wishes the receiver to keep their mind intact while receiving their boons, something that it typically has no care for. Unfortunately most minds are not strong enough and eventually irreparably shatter.
