Abandoned city located in the central region of the Kingdom of Andor, south of Harlequin.

History

The cradle of human civilization, thought to be the first human city in Aedrus. Nomadic humans, fleeing constant conflict with the Northland orc clans, built a fortified settlement on the banks of the Great Lake.

Crux was abandoned at some point before the formation of the Kingdom of Andor, for reasons unknown. To this day, the city is uninhabitable, and the source of powerful magical energies. Several notable wizards have researched the city, but results have been inconclusive. Crux's most notable landmark is the Ebonglass Cathedral, a construction of black glass whose original purpose is unknown. All attempts to enter have been unsuccessful.
