Defenses: With no presence of any peacekeepers, the hamlet is often at the mercy of any who would seek to do harm to it.

Commerce: With its proximity to ample marshland, Ravendale is one of the preeminent suppliers of rice in the region, but provides little else of note.

Government: The elected mayor Banders is a relatively despised individual who most view as incompetent, but because he owns the one location that serves as a meeting place he is able to retain his position of authority each election.

Crime: Crime is very uncommon within the village and is quickly a noteworthy event that requires summoning a magistrate from Maplemoor to handle issues.
