Summoning

Lonely world, lonely Dreams. The curse of solitude. This one, however, will be broken.
Chains. To the earth, to the longing inside, to the inefable sadness. Unseen yet ever felt, they keep the Dreamers down, secretly hoping they'll never realize that they themselves are keys.

Summoning allows an Artist to bind other living beings to them and summon them when needed. To summon an entity, the Sumonner must first sign a contract with that other being. The contract can take any form, be it physical or verbal, and contain any clauses, as long as both the Summoner and the other being, called a Qire, agree on every one of them. The other condition to form a contract is that poth parties must be able to communicate. The method of communication doesn't matter but both must agree to the contract of their own free will and let the other know that they consent to becoing a Summoner or a Qire.
Once the contract is formed, the Summoner may summon the Qire as much as they want, as long as they respect the terms of the contract. If one of those terms is broken, the contract is void, the bond between the Summoner and the Qire is severed and can never be formed again. A severed contract can cause the Summoner to suffer from heavy side effects for weeks to months after the fact, usually withdrawal symptoms, apathy and depression.    If the bond between the Summoner and the Qire is deep enough, both may enter Resonance. While in Resonance, the Qire fuses with the Summoner and bestows upon them a fraction of their own powers while feeding on their Aer. The Resonance can last from a few minutes before the toll on both beings becomes too much to bear.
Then, if this bond continues to deepen and both parties become accustomed to entering Resonance, they may gain the ability to perform an Arc Resonance. This form of Resonance lets a Summoner completely absorb their Qire : their appearance is forever altered and they gain all of the powers of their Qire. By doing this, the Qire effectively disappears.
