The White Eye
Divine Guardians of the White Forest
Bolgarung is believed by his followers to be the embodiment of the glory and power of nature itself. The most prominent group of Bolgarung's followers are the Halflings of the White Eye and, to some extent, The Circle. In fact, most religious scholars refer to Bolgarung as the god of Halflings or Druids, or even simply as The White Eye. Due to the secretive nature of both of these groups, little is known about the specifics of Bolgarung's related rituals and rites outside the Forest of the White Eye and The Fringe.
Generally, Bolgarung's followers can be found defending and tending nature or seeking glory by dominating or defeating dangerous monsters (such as aberrations) or weathering dangerous storms. Others can be found helping people or animals survive natural disasters or re-balancing the ecosystem. Almost all of the devout followers of Bolgarung are Circle or White Eye members, and of these, the Circle has the largest presence in the world outside the forest. Still, many farmers and ranchers offer prayers to Bolgarung for a good harvest or healthy animal birth. Some even pray to him when betting on horse races or the like, but there are many who argue that that simply doesn't count.
