Igglebrugheet

These little known creatures, native to Smelyevets, are considered by most scholars to be cousins to the mysterious Gnomes of that same land. The Igglebrugheeti are tiny folks, their largest folks measuring a hefty five inches in height, though otherwise they strongly resemble their gnomish cousins.   Much like Gnomes, the Igglebrugheeti crave adventure and novelty. They are clever and industrious people, always working on new solutions to their problems.

Culture

The Igglebrugheeti spend most of their lives in large (for them) conclaves constructed within magical domes of protection. These domes provide much needed protection from local predators and weather, and help them hide from more malicious creatures that might take advantage of them. Most Igglebrugheeti are content to spend their lives within these domes, tending to their farms and livestock, managing and engineering tiny marvels for their people.

Contracticars

Not all of these strange people are content to keep to themselves. Many of the more magically talented Igglebrugheeti seek out other civilizations to offer their services. Though not well known among the general populace, these so-called Contracticars hire themselves out via magical contracts. Once a contract has been formed, the Contracticar follows the other signer, providing magic at their request in exchange for various valuable materials that are magically sent home to their families.   The contracts usually last for many years, and are taken extremely seriously by the Contracticar to whom it belongs. Those who betray the contract can expect to suffer the effects of the dreaded Uligoue curse. This curse is a unique trait of the Igglebrugheeti people and is reported to be so powerful that not even a Wish spell can remove it.
