Xochayotl

Xochayotl are large turtle-like reptiles that are native to the Scarred Isles. They were first discovered after the fracturing of the continent in the Thousand Years War, and have since been notorious as slow but dangerous predators to small ships that sail in their waters.

One particularly massive xochayotl was used as the foundation for the town of Matoxoma, which moves throughout the waters of the Stormsea.
