Because of this, he is a cold figure, never showing emotion, nearing lifeless. The ones who truly know the Veiled Viper can attest, that in the moment of the kill, he is never more alive.
Zateus is depicted as a humanoid with snake-like characteristics. His massive serpent head towers as his serpentine limbs spread into the shadows that surround him. The venom from Zateus' fangs is able to paralyze any creature, even his fellow Deities.
Followers of the Veiled Viper consist of rings of powerful assassins and mercenaries. While others of similar profession seek coin, fame, or personal vendettas, those who worship Zateus instead seek targets that will cause the most chaos. Those whose death will cause power vacuums, mass outrage, or political turmoil are prime targets for the Viper's fangs.
