Ruvaa the Lie Weaver (/rue-vah/)

A Chthonic and of sacrilege worship

Profile and Followers

Ruvaa the Lie Weaver is the sacrilege goddess of falsehoods, shadows, and havoc. She is often characterized as a deceiving power hungry Deity, one who has the charisma to create a massive web of lies, and have the intelligence to keep them all in order. Forever scheming, the Lie Weaver uses her influence over her subjects similarly to one playing chess. Strategically placing pieces where they need to be in order to advance her power.   Ruvaa is infamously depicted as a half drow half spider, known as a drider. The lower body in the shape of a spider, with seemingly unending amount of legs each carefully manipulating a thread. The upper body's description changes from person to person. Some see her as a beautiful drow woman, with long white silken hair and soft purple skin. This stunning beauty is said to be able to lead anyone astray. The other popular depiction is much more monstrous, with glowing red eyes scattered all across her body, and her mouth instead taking a form similar to a spider's jaws.   Worshippers of the Lie Weaver tend to be constant forces of havoc. Creating great lies in order to force brothers against brothers, or nations against nations. It seems that the more chaos these acolytes of Ruvaa cause, the more pleased she is in them. The most troublesome part of dealing with her followers is finding them. It is nearly impossible to pinpoint where followers of the Lie Weaver gather, or if they even are a follower of hers at all.
