Nyslene the Blood Scourge is the sacrilege goddess of bloodshed, conquest, and dread. She is characterized as a cold and vile goddess, one who relishes combat and crushing foes under her boot. She gets a sick sense of pleasure seeing an enemy struggle, and the best part of the battle is when the opponent realizes they have lost.
Nyslene is typically depicted as a powerfully built individual clad in ornate and indestructible armor. Usually her face is covered by a helm, inspiring fear through the unknown. However, when her face is shown, she is described to have hobgoblin traits, such as red skin and large wide ears.
Worship of the Blood Scourge is shunned and outlawed. Those who look up to her tend to be dictators, tyrants, and conquerors. They ask for her guidance in crushing their opponents, and utterly destroying any idea of rebellion or uprising. Typically these zealots push others around, picture a powerful goblin bossing around their lesser companions out of fear. While this seems normal with monsters or beasts, those who follow in the Blood Scourge's teachings and manage to amass a great amount of power can change the world for the worse. Temples do exist in Nyslene's name, typically as a place to collect and hoard powerful weapons, and serve as a throne for the one in charge to expand their influence.
