Thieves' Cant

Thieves' Cant is a code used by the members of dishonest lines of work such as thievery, blackmail, and assassination. The cant can be used to gain information or employment without arousing suspicion from the public or law enforcement. In addition to its oral traditions, Thieves' Cant also uses symbols called Shadowmarks that can give extremely useful information for a rogue with a keen enough eye to spot them. Some Shadowmarks are universal, while others are unique to different crime syndicates.
