Shard

At the Temple District's center one may find the Shard, a monument built in the earliest days of Estea's reconstruction as a memorial to the Lullaby War, honoring the sacrifices of those who fought in the name of the Sovereign Host and symbolising the enduring nature of the world. The Shard is constructed of salvaged glass that was too weak to be used in the rebuilding efforts; it is primarily composed of glass from the Sundered Tower, as well as glass from the buildings that once occupied the district now called the Colourful Shades. Offerings are frequently made at the base of the Shard, and it is typically the duty of Avandra's faithful - the closest temple to the Shard by foot - to keep the area tidy.
