About Avandra
As the goddess of change, Avandra delights in freedom, trade, travel, adventure, and the frontier. Avandra has created the race of Halflings. As such, they as well as many merchants, travelers, adventurers and rogues worship her. Even beyond that many people throughout the land often raise a glass in honor of Lady Luck. Most towns and cities do not feature large temples for her, but rather small shrines scattered throughout their streets, in places of commerce and gambling, messenger's guilds, way stations, taverns, and even often in private homes. It's customary to put down money as an offering, and not remove it. The amount is not as important as the intent. Whether in active worship or just to wish someone luck, the phrase "May Avandra smile upon you" is commonplace among people of all walks of life.Avatar
Avandra is often depicted as a girl or woman of indeterminate age, neither child nor fully grown. She is often described as brown-skinned with natural curls, often in unnaturally bright colors matching her eyes and clothing. There is no particular holiday dedicated to Avandra across all of Aeash, but it's common to leave a particular offering to her on the first day - be it the first day of the week, month, year, a journey, or any other undertaking one wishes to be favoured by luck.
