Illuminated Hills

The smallest of the three residential districts in the city, the Illuminated Hills are home to the wealthiest of Estea's people - the scholars, the artists, the nobility. Bathed most hours of the day in the ever-shifting light of the Glass Towers, the Hills are home to many refined establishments such as museums, galleries, and music parlours. As the westernmost district of the city, the Hills saw the least damage during the war and is one of the few places in the city to still be made almost entirely of glass; unlike the Colourful Shades, all the original glass bridges survived the Lullaby War.
