Goldfalls

Located along the eastern shore of the Dragonfly's Tear, a lake in northern Istoria, Goldfalls was named for the waterfalls that feed into the lake and the nearby river, which frequently carry small pieces of gold. Discovery of this led to a small gold rush that has since waned, complete with a now-defunct gold mine not far from the town proper. Residents of the town often tell stories of gold dragons living in the Hollow Heights, though this is commonly seen as just fanciful tales. The common theory is that the ‘gold’ found in the waterfalls is actually scales from gold dragonborn living in Drakrest, washed all the way south through the rivers until they no longer resembled scales at all.
Goldfalls is the home village of Ashni "Zed" Zephyrwalk.
