Dave Discovers his Raxarian Abilities

Dave finds that he has the Raxarian powers after the ritual centuries ago. He has gained the immortality that the King wanted. He becomes severely depressed because he cannot die along with those he loved and cared for.

Over the coming years he finds a job in Talbury, and discovers that he isn’t aging at all and wonders if that was due to the Raxarian experiment. He was sure of it, there was no other way he could have survived for so long. When suspicions arise about him, he leaves and starts to travel Adremesis and realises that life is an art, an improbable phenomenon, but never given the recognition it deserves by those who possess it.

He becomes a travelling salesman, to help as many people as he can whilst they are part of the great picture of life. Meeting so many friends and them sadly passing away whilst he can’t age at all gets to him though, he becomes so depressed that he is unable to lose his life like those he cares about, but instead has to endure the sorrow of each of their passing; he thinks that he is a mistake, an imperfection in the painting of life, and that he doesn’t belong there.
