Excellion Discovers Nyet Yem

The Kingdom of Excellion was struggling for resources and began looking for more land to expand into. The mined deeper and deeper into the eastern mountains until they accidently find Nyet Yem, the last home of the Raxarians.

Excellion desperately needed resources was looking for more land so they began to dig deeper and deeper into the eastern mountains. They accidentally came across the Raxarians in Nyet Yem, which by this point became a complex arrangement of tunnels that covered much of the mountains. Excellion, out of fear of this ancient race they had never known, attacked. The Raxarians fought back of course, and being significantly stronger than humans, quickly drove them out of the mountains.

As punishment, a Raxarian, Riaæven-zhiva, took it upon himself to cause the kingdom to suffer. Being a descendant of Tempora, he used his magic to control the weather, and stirred a great blizzard to befall the island. This blizzard wiped out crops and trapped many of the citizens of Excellion, meaning no escape and no help. Other Raxarians apprehended Riaæven-zhiva but the damage had been done. They exiled him, but could do no more to protect the innocents of Excellion.

Riaæven-zhiva's actions were what caused the Melveil Ice Plains to be as cold and desolate as they are. He invoked pure rage into his magic, leaving strong shockwaves in the Natural Flow of the Plains as he cast it, which is what caused the "eternal winters" that the Plains suffer from.
