Dave and his Family are Attacked

Dave travels with his new family, selling trinkets and tools to passer-by. It went well for a while but it was too good to be true. His caravan is attacked, killing his wife but Alric was able to escape. Dave is also seemingly killed, and is nowhere to be found.

Dave offers to travel with his wife and son, and she agrees. It goes well for a few months, travelling the island selling trinkets to passer-by, but it was too good to be true. On his way back to Emwood, his caravan is attacked by bandits and, unable to protect himself, could do nothing to stop them. They kill his wife, and Dave is also seemingly killed, but their child miraculously hides. The bandits ransack the caravan and they take Dave with them when they leave, before realising he is dead as well, so they dump him in a nearby river. Luxrin found the site and rescued Alric. Help arrives and the woman is brought back to be buried. Dave is nowhere to be found.
