Dave finally believes he knows what he needs to do to meet the King's request. He prepares the ritual, but things quickly go very badly. Dave is thought to be killed.

Dave finally achieved the end goal and the time had come to grant the King Raxarian power using ancient magic he found when working with Cavadrak. Dave and his team prepared the symbol in the laboratory and started the ritual. The King’s old body wasn’t able to handle it, his body started failing him and the King collapsed. Dave rushed in to get the king out of the symbol and he did successfully, but a part of Dave was still inside, pulling him in and giving this power to him.

Creating artificial life was one thing the Almighty forbids so part of the Almighty descended to Adremesis to balance out this ritual, He sees Dave in the symbol and appears to him alone.

Dave is absolutely terrified as he gets pulled into this apparition, until consciousness fails him.
