Void Weaver

Void Weavers are Voidborne deities that create the beasts for the Horde of the Void. Lead by the Great Entwiner, Kour'Igon, an army of Weavers use the Void's energy to manipulate creatures of mass destruction. The process is slow and costly, however, causing many inherent risks to the very existences of each Weaver - or even Krel.

Responsibilities

Void Weavers produce the innumerable Void Beasts that fill the Horde. By contorting and manipulating the Void's chaotic energy, they can then create Void Beasts from it. It can take a long time to just create one lowly creature so some Weavers will work together to build a larger creature quicker than they could on their own.

History

Krel'Outama first made the 4 Void Weavers prior to the War for Adremesis. He used them almost like printers - giving them the blueprints they need to endlessly pump out new beasts. A problem was immediately evident though, the process was too slow. Krel was not able to produce another Voidborne powerful enough to create beasts as quickly as he could without exerting too much of his own power. What he did instead was creating more Weavers, then to combine each of the first 4 into one mighty Weaver - known as the Great Entwiner, Kour'igon. Kour'igon was to lead the Weavers into building him an army of beasts to drive the infernal Raxarians off that forsaken world the Almighty held so dear. He did just that. Kour'igon himself could produce mighty Void Beasts in half the time it took for a normal Weaver to build just one minor beast. This great power came at just as great of a cost. So much of the Void's energies were being used so quickly, while the Void is infinitely morphing and regenerating, the rate of production of beasts had to be slowed lest Krel and his Weavers destroy themselves as the Void seeks to get more energy. This is one of the main reasons the War for Adremesis had to finally be stopped - Krel was losing too many too quickly, and rebuilding them all was too risky, so he had no choice but to retreat.
