The Tanyel Logs

The Tanyel Logs were a long series of books detailing the complete history of the Raxarian's presence on Adremesis, roughly up until Nyet Yem was founded. They were written by Tanyel, a Justicium Raxarian that wanted to ensure the Raxarians would be remembered forever. He generally did this on his own accord without any help, but after Justicium caught wind of Tanyel's idea in 2898 BFB, he offered the new name - Tanyel, meaning history - and assigned eight willing Raxarians to assist in writing.   There are 25 books in total with each book separated into a century of Raxarian history. There were specific dates for each major historical moment and in-depth descriptions of the events prior, during, and after. They also had a list of every Raxarian that was named, dishonoured, or exiled, alongside the dates and reasons for which. At the end of each book were obituaries for fallen Raxarians, once again with dates.   Before the War for Adremesis, most of the books were quite shallow. As you can expect, this was due to the generally quiet lives of the Raxarians. There were no conflicts between them, most deaths were accidental, and new names were uncommon. You can, however, immediately see the shift in size once you reach the 2400s. This is the century that the War for Adremesis started; obituaries skyrocketed, new names were far more commonplace, and, of course, there were major events all the time. One of the Raxarians working on the books left to join the frontline. He, sadly, did not return. For the first and only time, Tanyel dedicated an entire page to his fallen friend and deeply mourned his loss for many days.   Tanyel had some copies made of the books for each Raxarian settlement. Unfortunately though, after the calamities of the War of the Dragon Lords, many of the copies were lost. If all of the surviving books were found, there is still enough to create a complete collection. The problem is, many of them have been found already...just not by the Raxarians. Humans exploring the ruins of Draken Đøskø or Liset Domen have uncovered some of the books, most of which found their way to the vast libraries of Barrodor. There, they were later utilised by Davonius Alricke and his team of scholars in 4 BFB for an attempt to grant the king at the time immortality by essentially turning him into a Raxarian.
